ABSTRACT. Individual gaseous species of fullerene chlorides have been succsesfully generated in a molecular beem. Knudsen cell mass spectrometry has been used to detect C60Cl2n (n = 0... 9), C70Cl2m (m = 0...7) in the vapor over the system C60/C70 (extract) with CrCl3, FeCl3*6H2O, FeCl3 (anhydrous) and CuCl2 (anhydrous) at temperatures from 520 to 720 K. Bond dissociation enthalpies for the fullerene chlorides have been estimated.
