ABSTRACT. The electron transfer reduction processes were investigated for 2-methoxy- and 2-methylthioethyl substituted zirconocene dichlorides. It was found that the reduction process is accompanied with the destruction of Me-S or Me-O covalent bonds in ligands and the formation of new metal-oxygen and metal-sulfur bonds.
