Indirect UV-detection in
single-column ion chromatography
Abstract
Several aromatic acids and
their salts were studied as eluents for indirect UV detection. Relation between
detection sensitivity and factor of molar absorptivity of the eluent, its
concentration and elution strength was showed. Separation of seven inorganic
anions mixture was realized on sorbent Nucleosil SA modified with 3,6-ionene by
present eluents. The low limit of anion BF4– detection
was reached. It was better as compared with double-column ion chromatography
with conductometric detection.
