On the causes of defects in welded joints
of pipes made OF PE100
Abstract
A study of pipes with weld defects
(cavities, inclusions, brittle fracture) was carried out and their relationship
with the characteristics of the feedstock was shown. Qualitative and
quantitative indicators of the content of volatile substances of various
fractions in PE granules were obtained. The value of moisture absorption of
carbon black concentrates used in PE100 has been determined.
