The precipitation of ammonium uranyl tricarbonate (AUTC) from aqueous-alcoholic and acetate solutions

Abstract

During the precipitation of AUTC the residual concentration of uranium in the stock solution is 1–5 g/l. The possibility of reducing the residual uranium concentration in the stock solution at the precipitation stage of AUTC has been considered. The processes of precipitation of AUTC from aqueous-alcoholic and acetate solutions have been analyzed.
Key words: uranium, precipitation, ammonium uranyltricarbonate, ethyl alcohol.
