Study of distribution
of metronidazole in rectum cancer tissue in an in vivo experiment in case of
administration of the drug via rectal application
Abstract
Distribution of
metronidazole in rectum cancer tissue and proximal healthy tissue was studied
in the case of administration of the drug via rectal application. Concentration
of metronidazole in extracts from tumor tissue and the proximal healthy tissue
was studied by the means of UV - spectrophotometry. The comparative analysis of
pharmacokinetics of metronidazole in the malignant and healthy proximal tissue
depending on the initial concentration of metronidazole in the composition
applied rectally based on 31 cases in 341 tissue samples was carried out.
