Structural classes of lattice tilings of a plane by dodecaminos

Abstract

Abstract. Partitions of a plane into polyominos are a model of two-dimensional crystal structures made of molecules. The catalog and the atlas of all the 3205 lattice partitions of a plane into dodecaminoes were created. The structural patterns of the partitions and their features in relation to molecular crystals are discussed.
